The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce has been around for 90 years. In that time, business has evolved and changed in ways the founders could not have imagined. Business owners need a partner in their business; someone to provide information, answers and protection. The DACC is here to ensure that our Northeast Iowa business community remains vital, relevant and productive now and into the future regardless of the changes that take place in the business world.
The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce and the Winneshiek County Convention & Visitor Bureau are seeking two part-time positions for shared Central Guest Receptionist position. Ideal candidates will provide outstanding customer service to the various groups and individuals contacting the community. This position will also require meeting the administrative duties of the office by providing assistance with normal secretarial and record keeping functions required by the DACC or WCCVB including guest services, computer work, mail processing, telephone calls, staff and conference room schedules, updating events on web site and billing for over the counter sales, volunteer coordination, and special event support. Candidate must be familiar with the area, have a positive attitude and be willing to work in a fast-paced team environment.
