Ribbon Cutting: Storied Folk & Co.

Decorah Area Chamber Ambassadors celebrated Storied Folk & Co. with a ribbon cutting and store tour. Owner Linley Cavin was joined by husband Jess, son Holden (4 years old), and daughter Andi (2 years old) to mark a new chapter for the business – its first brick-and-mortar location. Cavin started her business more than a decade ago and has shared her unique products at pop-up markets, through online sales, and at select retail locations. Cavin’s relationship with Rendered Unique (one of the locations that carried the Storied Folk & Co. product lines) and her love for downtown Decorah fueled the decision to bring her small business into a physical space. Browsing her store it’s no surprise that Cavin has a background in marketing & graphic design. Her eye for composition and knack for messaging that connects with customers has made her clothing and paper goods stand-out in the market.
